Capability

Design, Fabrication, Installation,

Watermark produced from concept 3D model drawings using GPS onsite scanning to aid production of detailed drawings and calculations.

Design and maintenance incorporated to comply with CDM Regulations.

Owing to site space constrictions removing and lifting the bridge underslung rotors was expensive and problematic when using traditional crane lifts. Access for maintenance work to the rotors could only be achieved by hired in pontoons.

The Watermark design incorporated integral Davit Arms with electric hoists mounted above the Aeration Rotors.

Splash shields and handrailing was designed to be easily removed to allow clearance for the lifting of the aeration rotor.

When the Aeration Rotor was lifted from its operating position hinged support beams built into the steel structure swung out underneath the rotor which was then lowered onto the supports. Maintenance was then conducted from the bridge negating the need for hired in cranes and pontoons.
